"Hmm. This is a dream..." Buffy laid her head upon Angel's chest. He swung his legs up onto the bed.
"I know."
"I've never felt like this until you became human."
" How do you mean?" Angel questioned, silently knowing the answer, know the next line, word for word. "Like a normal girl, lying in the arms of her normal boyfriend." He smiled at her answer, realising, maybe Buffy would never remember that day, but the things she said, they would come again, with time. Since he was now human.
"Angel? I love you. I want to know everything about you."
"okay..."
"Tell me what you believe."
"Okay, but you have to tell me too."

"I believe the sun should never set upon an argument" He cringed at that one, knowing the meaning behind in. Things happened after sunset.

"I believe we place our happiness in other people's hands". It was her time to cringe, how true that was for them. Not anymore.

"I believe that junk food tastes so good because it's bad for you."
Especially cookie dough fudge mint chip. She knew that those ice cream tubs would go straight to her thighs, however one of the more pleasant side-effects of slayerdom was the rate at which her body burned fat. To emphasise her point, she let the ice-cream she was eating, dribble on to his chest. He laughed as she licked it off.

"I believe your parents did the best job they knew how to do" Joyce had only been looking out for Buffy when she'd told him to leave her. However, it had proven to be the wrong advice.

"I believe that beauty magazines promote low self esteem." How many times had she caught Willow complaining that she wasn't as beautiful as those models, while in truth she was so much prettier. And Cordelia, starving herself at times to stay that thin, when her looks ensured no matter what size she was, she'd always be beautiful.

"I believe I'm loved when I'm completely by myself alone" He would always know that she loved him. Even when he was in hell, he knew that was true.

"I believe in karma what you give is what you get returned" She blushed as she told him that one. He looked away, thinking she meant that he would get all he deserved for his deeds as Angelus.

"Angel, I meant you would get back all the love and caring you've given. You know you can't be punished for what the demon part of you did. That was his nature, and yours is completely different." His answer to her comments startled her.

"I believe you can't appreciate real love until you've been burned"

"I believe the grass is no more greener on the other side" Meaning of
course, that had she been a normal girl, and he a normal boy, it didn't
necessarily mean their lives would be easier.

"I believe you don't know what you've got until you say goodbye" Softly he kissed her, emphasising how much he had missed her.

"I believe you can't control or choose your sexuality" She quirked an
eyebrow at him, remembering what he'd told her about Spike.

"I believe that trust is more important than monogamy!" He answered back, laughing at her face at the thought of Angel believing that one.

"I believe your most attractive features are your heart and soul" She was getting serious again.

"I believe that family is worth more than money or gold" He bowed his head, remembering exactly what he'd been like as a human, first time round. If he could have just been less of a disappointment.

"I believe the struggle for financial freedom is unfair" As a poor student, she defintely believed heart and soul in that.

"I believe the only ones who disagree are millionaires" Aint that the
truth. In L.A. you couldn't turn a corner in some areas without seeing
money and poverty in the same street.

"I believe forgiveness is the key to your unhappiness" She knew that was true. Human Angel had finally managed to forgive himself, to an extent, and it had made a huge impact on his personality.

"I believe that wedded bliss negates the need to be undressed" Trying to lighten up, he smirked at her, pulling the bed covers up around. "I believe that God does not endorse TV evangelists" she laughed. He gave her a look as if to say, since when did you start using such big words. "I believe in love surviving death into eternity". And with that, he kissed her, and switched their bedside light off...
