The A-Team have been on an emotional rollar-coaster for the past few years. Angel has changed a lot over the course of the last few years. Now he is a father to Connor he is much more relaxed and able to socialise with greater ease, thanks mainly to Cordelia and Lorne. Angel has told Connor about Darla (his mother) so he isn't confused. Both Stephanie and Connor know Angel is a vampire, but they also know he will Shansu (become human) which Wesley calculated will happen any time within the next 8-10 years. Angel is still a Warrior for the PTB and has settled into his way of life. He is able to stop torchering himself over all the people Angelus killed, and has accepted his other half though it has taken a lot of time. Although Connor (now 2 ½) is his natural son he shows no signs of vampirism, and appears perfectly human, with the exception of slightly increased healing, strength and speed. It has been hinted Connor has a powerful destinies. Wesley is still leader of the team, which Angel likes and Wesley enjoys. Gunn and Fred enjoyed a brief fling for two months, before separating. Fred and Wesley eventually got together. Cordelia found herself attracted to Gunn but refused to acknowledge her feelings at first. When Gunn was almost killed in battle, she knew she didn't have the time to hide her feelings. It turned out Gunn fancied her, but was dubious about starting a relationship with her, not sure if they were too similar to get on, but despite expectations they have been together over a year. Angel has regularly been visiting Faith in prison for the past few years, and she is due to be released from prison in a few months. They were briefly joined by Spike for a few months, a year old but Spike left when Angel accidentally found out about Spike and Buffys relationship. It is rumoured he is back with long time love, Drusilla, but this is not clear.

Wesley left to conduct some unfinished business in England a few months ago, but the reason behind this is not known even now, but it was known he visited Rupert Giles. Dawn came to live with Angel two years ago when she became too difficult for Buffy to handle. Angel was very clear about what he would and would not tolerate, and Dawn eventually expected his rules, although reluctantly at first. She believes that Buffy should be with Angel. She is Connors honorary aunt and godmother (Cordelia, Lorne & Wesley are his actual god parents) and regularly baby sits him, she has since become very attached to Connor. She goes to Hermany High School in L.A. and is prominently living with Angel now, although she does visit Buffy regularly.

With Cordelia's visions, it was revealed the pain they caused would eventually kill her as it would be too much for her body to cope with. Eventually Fred found out that it was possible for human to have visions without killing them. However it was a very complex and dangerous spell have to be performed, and needed the blood of all her friends, and needed Lorne (who is now living at the Hyperion) to put Cordy into a deep trance to receive her visions back. Her visions keep coming but they are a lot easier for her to deal with now and although they hurt can easily be kept at bay with aspirins.
