AN: I couldn't sleep. So I wrote these. It only took about 15 minutes all
up. Their not supposed to be award winning pieces of poetry, mind you. Up
to a certain degree, you could even say that they're a bit like
sillyfics...only, a sillypoem. I guess.

Hands Held
He took her hand,
They stole into the night
And how they ran
With all their might
To get away
From their past mistakes
To get away
From the bloodstains and stakes
Together they fled
Without looking back
With hands held,
Love, they didn't lack
The two left behind
Weren't baffled, as such
With their disappearances,
But the oddness of their touch
The lovers didn't return
Until many years later
When both affairs
Had ended in slaughter
Happily they lived,
With their two heartbeats
No longer that life
Of battling the streets
No regrets,
No remorse,
No more denying
Their bond's force.
